$1,150: Membership fee for a regular member

$ 575: Reduced membership fee for an active member aged 65 and over

You must be 65 years old on January 1st of the membership year.

$60: Reduced membership fee for a resident member

You must provide proof of your residency to [email protected]. However, you will be subject to the Rand formula. Therefore, if you receive amounts from the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ), it will withhold 35% and pay them to us as union dues, until we have received the full amount of the membership fee for a regular member.

$60: Reduced membership fee for a retired member

You must have permanently ceased to practice dental medicine as of January 1st of the membership year.

$60: Reduced membership fee for a disabled member

You must be incapable of practicing dentistry for the entire year.

$0: Membership fee for a new graduate

You must have obtained your diploma from a Quebec university during the year.

NOTE
If you make your payment after January 1, you will be subject to the Rand formula. Therefore, if you receive amounts from the (RAMQ), it will withhold 35% and pay them to us as union dues, until we have received the full amount of the membership fee for a regular member. You will be reimbursed the excess amounts deducted by the RAMQ once it has transferred the full amount of the annual membership fee to us or in January of next year, if the full amount has not been reached.

RAND FORMULA
It is a provision of the health insurance agreement between the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS) and the ACDQ (organization recognized by the government to represent Quebec dentists) under which the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ) is authorized to deduct an amount equal to 35% of the payments made to dentists until their annual membership fee has been paid to the ACDQ. The deductions cease when the deducted amounts reach the full amount of the membership fee.
