Message for new graduates 2023 | Welcome to the profession!

July 7th, 2023

As President of the Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec (ACDQ), I speak on behalf of our 4,300 members when I congratulate you on earning your dentistry degree. Please know that we are very pleased to welcome you to the profession.

Above all, I would like to assure you of the ACDQ's support in the pursuit of your professional goals and in defending your interests as a young dentist in the face of various economic and political issues, including the framework agreement with the MSSS, labour shortages, the Canadian Dental Care Plan, and so on.

You can count on us at any time for any questions or challenges you may have regarding the practice of your profession. Our dental consultant, legal services team and HR consulting services are there to support you!

Watch this video to hear my short message to you (in French).

To support you in practicing the profession, the ACDQ and its subsidiaries offer you the following extensive range of services:

If you haven't already done so, I invite you to join the ACDQ. When you join, you become a member of an association created by dentists, for dentists, whose goal is to make it easier for dentists to manage their professional and personal affairs.

To become a member in good standing of the Association in the year that your degree is issued, you simply have to pay a one-time initiation fee of $60. Then, you will be able to enjoy all our services, access the entire content of the website, and receive the 2023 edition of the Fee Guide and Description of Dental Treatment Services.

We look forward to having you as a member and serving you!

Carl Tremblay, DMD
President
