I am a patient. Can I obtain a copy of the Fee Guide?

The Fee Guide and Description of Dental Treatment Services is published every year by the Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec (ACDQ) for its members. It is a complex technical document (it contains around 800 interrelated codes). It was designed for dentists and serves as a reference for them in establishing their fees. Dentists are entirely free to set their own fees.

Dental care is complex, it is up to each dentist to present his fees to his patient according to the care that the state of health of his mouth requires. If you have questions about the cost of a dental treatment, your dentist is always the best person to answer them, because each case is unique.

Finally, as a patient, it is not possible to have a copy of Legal deposits of the guide are available at the Bibliothèque nationale du Québec in Montreal and the National Library of Canada in Ottawa and can be consulted there.
