History
The Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec (ACDQ) was incorporated under the Professional Syndicates Act, R.S.Q., chapter S-40, and amendments. Its incorporation was authorized by the Quebec Provincial Secretary on June 6, 1966, under the name of L’Association professionnelle des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec, and published in the Gazette officielle du Québec on June 18, 1966. It became the Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec on January 17, 1970.

The mission of the Association des chirurgiens dentistes du Québec is to study, defend and develop the professional, economic and social interests of its members.

The ACDQ is the umbrella association for Quebec dentists and is recognized as the forward-thinking leader in the dental community.
